About

I’m currently the web and stats guy for the Media Resources Center, the greatest video archive and digital media lab in the country.  I love puzzles and problem solving, which led me to pursue a master’s in information science here at Carolina. I worked for a little while as a SAS programmer for a pharmaceutical research company in RTP. That job taught me some valuable skills, but I missed the day-to-day interaction of working with the public.

At the MRC I get to do really really cool things every day:  help students, faculty and staff create and edit videos; decipher and translate the metadata for foreign films; try out new technologies; and recommend films.

I love movies.  I love music.  I love tinkering with computers.

This is a great place to be.
